Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mr. Aiden Peake and I am the Year Advisor for Year 8 2023. My role is to assist the students of Year 8 with all aspects of their wellbeing and its impact on their learning. I work closely with Mr Michael Pulciani, who is the Year 8 Assistant Year Advisor, with the school Welfare team and the student's classroom teachers. I am the first point of contact for parents/guardians in relation to any issues regarding your son's/ward's wellbeing at East Hills Boys High School.
I have the opportunity to support and work with the students in Year 8, build their strengths as they continue to thrive in high school and give them guidance as the year progresses. As a year group they have demonstrated their strength and resilience, and have impressed me with their positive attitude to learning. They always support one another in times of need, cheer on each other when in competition, and will be, in time, our future school leaders.
The staff at EHBHS are committed to supporting their students so they can maintain motivation and a positive outlook on their education and development. We have a great support network in the school and great welfare team, who will be there for the boys preparing them for the outside world.
Students in Year 8 will be continuing their studies in the mandatory subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Literacy, Numeracy, Languages, PDHPE, Visual Arts, Music and Technology.
I look forward to continuing getting to know Year 8 and families this coming year.
If you would like to contact me directly, I can be contacted by either email on aiden.peake2@det.nsw.edu.au or by phoning the school on 9773 7806.
