Parents can make a request to the school to access outside services for their child during school hours (ie Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Specialist Behaviour Support).
Below is the application form link that must be completed and brought to the school office, ensure to include the external provider engagement agreement & declaration for child-related workers form.
Note: the form has links to other documents of interest including;

links to additional documents the service providers need to complete and return;
including Declaration for Child-Related Workers
External Provider Engagement Agreement form explaining the agreed upon goals of the service to be provided, to ensure it reflects the educational needs of the individual student and school operational requirements.
copy of school timetable so Externally Funded Service Providers can work within a period and not over breaks or across multiple periods.
Hardcopies of these forms are also available on request from the Learning Support Team/Inclusive Education Faculty if required.
The Learning Support Team/Inclusive Education Faculty will discuss the therapy with External Therapy Services Provider from the information supplied on External Provider Engagement Agreement Form and consider the following:
- the impact of the service on a student’s access to the curriculum
- the impact of the service on other students
- the ability to maintain business as usual at the school for the benefit of all students
- and the capacity to observe or supervise the delivery of the service.
The Learning Support Team/Inclusive Education Faculty will make a recommendation to the Principal. From the information supplied by the External Therapy Services Provider on the Declaration for child-related workers the BM or SAM will check eCPC to ensure the screening request for the individual service provider has been returned as clear (as a volunteer/contractor (level C).
The final decision will be determined by the Principal as to whether the service will be conducted at school.
The External Therapy Services Provider will provide the school with updates on progress towards agreed upon goals of each student in a determined time frame communicated by the school. The agreement will be reviewed at the end of a determined timeframe communicated by the school to determine if the service provision will continue or not.
At East Hills Boys High School, we address all students' individual needs in all learning environments (classrooms, google classroom, excursions, incursions, sport, etc) as no one student is the same as another.
Creating an environment that is safe and engaging for all students and their peers is a priority and this needs to be focused on throughout the course of the student’s educational experience at East Hills Boys High School. Which is why it is an integral part of Learning Support Team/Inclusive Education Faculty to enhance the students learning and engagement, through understanding and support.
Working closely with the Learning Support Team/Inclusive Education Faculty to establish a creative and positive environment for both the staff, student, the parents/carers and externally funded service providers with open communication and transparency.
All students need to feel known, valued and cared for within the education system, and by working in partnership to implement support plans and differentiated work for optimal student engagement. Those who required more assistance, we will strive to effectively manage and differentiate work and resources to suit their ability level and acknowledge the cognitive and behavioural development of the students.
Our goal at East Hills Boys High School is to provide the best educational experience so students reach their full potential in a safe and engaging environment.
