We are very proud of our school and our strong school community and are fortunate that our school has a well-rounded curriculum that provides opportunities for boys in a range of areas including academic, sporting and creative and performing arts.
We are also very proud of all the staff at the school whose ongoing passion and devotion to the education of all students continue to ensure the best possible outcomes.
For those parents who are enrolling a child into high school for the first time, a special welcome. We hope the next six years will be happy and rewarding for your son.
As some of you may know, it can be difficult to stay informed when we are reliant on the communication from our teenage children. P&C is a great way to hear what is going on at our school as well as providing an opportunity to build relationships with other parents and teachers.
Our P&C meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every month from 6pm at the school cafe. The meetings are regularly attended by our principal, Mr Paul Abboud, as well as head teachers or deputy principals from time to time and are very informative. Meetings are also a great opportunity to raise ideas or clarify any concerns you may have. They are very informal and everybody is welcome.
On occasions, the P&C conduct fundraising activities. Fundraising is an important activity which ensures that we are able to support the school in providing our boys with extra funds for various resources. This year, for example, we contributed to upgrading the library to a 21st Century learning space. This included: development of additional learning spaces, purchasing visual communication resources, air conditioning and additional outside seating.
