Year 11 Ancient History Archaeological Dig Incursion.
The Year 11 Ancient History, taken by Mr. Kepreotis, were able to engage with some hands-on learning, and experience what it is like being an archaeologist.
Students spent the day marking out and excavating at EHBHS's very own Archaeological Dig Site. Students were broken into groups and were designated quadrants to work with. It was up to the group to decide how they would excavate and record the artefacts found. Students not only had to excavate and record, but they also had to use ALARM to help them describe and assess the artefacts found and what they reveal about ancient societies. It was a fun and educational day for all involved!
