At East Hills Boys High School, we endeavour to promote enrichment opportunities for our students to allow them to experience a wide range of activities. In the English Faculty, we run Debating Club, open for all students from Years 7-11, to engage in rigorous discussions on contemporary topics and issues.
In Debating, students build their speaking and presentation skills by exploring complex, controversial issues and work to build strong arguments against another team. Throughout the year, students will be taught how to conduct themselves during a debate, discuss relevant ideas on new topics, and work as a team to develop cohesive arguments.
Debating is run by Mr Pulciani and Ms Freer. Speak to them in the English Staffroom to be involved.
