Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

school orientation days
sports carnivals
open day and school tours
Harmony Week, Naidoc Week, RUOK Day
excursions and incursions
fundraising, charity and community events
award assemblies
graduation and other celebrations.

R U OK? Day is always a fun-filled day, offering a range of engaging activities that encourage students to connect and interact with one another. Our IEF students also sell a variety of sweet treats, which are always a big hit! One of the most important features of the day is our wellbeing check-in station, where students can connect with our School Counsellor and SSO for support, a friendly chat, and a reminder that their wellbeing matters.

Harmony Day is a special occasion that brings our school community together to celebrate our diverse backgrounds and cultural heritage, while promoting respect, understanding, and appreciation for everyone’s beliefs and traditions.

This year, students took part in an engaging activity by placing pins on a world map to show where they or their families come from. The activity was a wonderful reminder of the rich cultural diversity within our school community and the importance of embracing and celebrating what makes each of us unique.

Our High Achievers Morning Teas recognise and celebrate students’ hard work, dedication, and commitment to learning, acknowledging their efforts and achievements.
