In the Preliminary and HSC courses, students will study the concepts of music through the learning experiences of performance, composition, musicology and aural within the context of a range of styles, periods and genres. Students are exposed to a variety of musical styles and musical periods.
In Stage 6 students study broad topics which allows them to choose areas that they are most interested in. These topics will assist students in understanding the key features of performing and composing, as well as its historical significance.
Students have access to a wide variety of resources such as a recording studio, practise rooms and MIDI lab which they can use to develop their skills in performing, composing and recording.
