Facilities and resources
Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.
Together, these initiatives create a nurturing and empowering school culture that prepares students to thrive both academically and socially, equipping them for success beyond school.

- bright and comfortable classrooms
- a well-stocked library for reading and research
- science labs for hands-on experiments
- sports fields for fitness and fun
- art and music and performance spaces for creative learning
- modern computer lab for digital learning.
Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
Berry Street
East Hills Boys High School implements the Berry Street Education Model, which focuses on trauma-informed teaching practices and social-emotional learning to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Working in conjunction with the Positive Behaviour for Learning framework, we encourage respectful and positive behaviour, helping students engage proactively in their education and community.
Boyz 2 Men
Boyz 2 Men is an in-school program initiated to build the emotional and social wellbeing of students at risk through mentoring. By developing their leadership skills, the program builds resilience and reinforces respectful relationships. The program will mentor 10 identified Year 10 Boys in 2026 and work closely with East Hills Public School.
Auto Shed Program
Our unique The Auto Shed program is designed to provide Year 10 students at East Hills Boys High School with an authentic learning experience that aims to help them become safe road users. Leaders at the school identified that young men between 17-24 were the most likely to be involved in unsafe road use and therefore there was a need to educate the students on how to become responsible road users. The multifaceted program includes an in-depth road safety component, assistance for students in the attainment of their learner's permit and a basic car maintenance component facilitated by a qualified mechanic. The program has been highly successful receiving The Secretaries Award for Outstanding School Initiative in 2022. The program has been so successful that it is now supporting two other local high schools at the East Hills Boys High School facility. Engagement with the program has been extremely positive with students excelling in the purpose built workshop.
Sport at East Hills Boys High School is a major part of our school culture and is highly supported and embraced by students, staff and the wider school community. We offer a dedicated weekly school sport program every Tuesday afternoon, where students participate in a wide range of engaging and inclusive sporting options. Students can choose from sports such as pickleball, futsal, fishing, tennis, soccer, gym and more—providing opportunities for all interests and ability levels.
Our students also proudly represent the school in the Bankstown Zone Grade and HPGE tournaments, and we have an outstanding history of success in NSWCHS Statewide Knockout competitions. Recent highlights include a top-four finish in the U15s Rugby Union, a top-five placing in Tennis, a top-eight finish in Squash, and top-eight results for our 13s and 16s relay teams in Athletics.
Sport at East Hills Boys High School is not just about competition—it develops teamwork, leadership, wellbeing and school pride, and continues to be a valued and celebrated part of our student experience.
